Veterans with service during wartime, and their surviving spouse, may be entitled to benefits through the Veterans Administration. Pension benefits may be available for disabled veterans under age 65. There is no disability requirement for veterans over age 65 or their surviving spouse. Pension benefits are offset by other income, which could result in no pension being due. Additional benefits are available through Aid and Attendance for veterans or their surviving spouse who are in need of personal assistance.
We can evaluate your income, assets and care needs and advise you about applying for VA benefits. We can also advise you about options to restructure your assets in order to qualify for VA benefits.
